Before anything else, I want to understand your business. Your day-to-day, your pain points, your customers, your goals. You know your business better than I ever will, and I treat that as the starting point.
Ask.
Once I've heard you out, I'll ask questions. Some will be clarifying, some will be challenging. The goal is to get to the real problem, not just the surface symptom.
Recommend.
If a tool already exists that solves your problem well, I'll point you to it and help you get set up. No ego, no need to build from scratch just because I can.
Build (if needed).
If the right tool doesn't exist, or if your business has needs that off-the-shelf products can't meet, I'll build something personalized. Something that fits your workflow, not the other way around.
